Opportunities for Research

We are happy to receive suggestions for PhD projects.

Information regarding organizational questions about how to pursue a PhD at Univ. Koblenz can be found here (in German).

The Office of International Relations is in charge of questions regarding international students and should be able to answer questions about being an international (PhD) student registered at TU Dortmund.

We are happy to supervise external Bachelor or Master theses of exceptionally excellent candidates. Possibilities for demonstrating the required level of excellence include:

• Akquisition of competitive external funding for the thesis project (e.g. from the DAAD). (Being self-funded is not a substitute for this option.)
• A joint publication in a peer-reviewed conference together with a member of our group which is accepted for publication before the start of the Bachelor or Master project.

Funding opportunities / scholarship

Funding is becoming available on a recurrent basis. We will gladly assist you in applying for funding from external sources.
